Dog Knee Recovery Kit
A vet-designed knee support system with hot/cold therapy and a guided 8-week rehab plan — for post-surgical recovery, ligament strain, and long-term joint support.
Three tools, one recovery.
We put together everything you'd have to buy separately — support, therapy, and a rehab plan built by veterinary physiotherapists.
CCL / ACL Knee Brace
Perforated pad with dual metal stays for lateral support. Cross-elastic mesh keeps it breathable. Fits either leg.
Cold / Hot Pouch
A reusable pouch you fill with tap water once — freeze for cold therapy or microwave briefly for heat. Held snug against the joint by the wrap. Reusable up to 1000 times.
8-Week Rehab Plan
An 8-week rehab protocol delivered as a printable PDF straight to your inbox. Weekly exercises, cold/warm therapy timing, red-flag guidance, and a progress tracker. Yours to keep — no subscription.
Designed for real recovery.
Dual metal stays
Lateral bone strips resist twisting motion that reinjures the CCL.
Cold & hot therapy
Targeted therapy exactly where inflammation and stiffness live.
Precise adjustability
Three Velcro fastening points — snug without cutting circulation.
Breathable mesh
Cross-elastic mesh means your dog can wear it comfortably all day.
Stops wound licking
Physical barrier for post-surgical incisions — a friendlier alternative to the cone.
Machine washable
Cold cycle, air dry. The cross-elastic mesh holds its shape wash after wash.
Left or right
Symmetrical design fits either leg — no need to specify at checkout.
Progress tracker
Weekly check-in cards in your rehab plan help you spot improvements and setbacks.
Find the right fit.
Our brace runs slightly loose. If your dog's measurement lands between two sizes, order the SMALLER size — this chart is already adjusted for that.
| Size | Dog weight | Knee circumference | Example breeds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 12–50 lb / 5.5–23kg | 6–10 cm (2.4–3.9 in) | Yorkie, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, French Bulldog, Corgi |
| Large | 50–120 lb / 23–55kg | 10–16 cm (3.9–6.3 in) | Labrador, Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Great Dane |
Four steps. Under a minute.
Most dogs adjust to the brace within a day or two. Take it slow, keep treats handy.
Attach to the leg
Fasten the two Velcro tabs
Cross over the elastic band
Adjust and secure
A guided path back to normal.
Built with veterinary physiotherapists. Adjust the pace to your dog — the plan is a scaffold, not a schedule.
Rest and reduce
Full brace wear, ice therapy after activity, controlled toilet breaks. Focus on reducing inflammation.
Gentle motion
Short lead walks on flat ground. Introduce passive range-of-motion exercises from the plan.
Rebuild strength
Longer walks, sit-to-stand reps, weight-shifting exercises. Heat therapy before sessions.
Return to activity
Gradually reintroduce play. Continue brace for high-impact moments. Reassess with your vet.
Questions, answered.
Measure the circumference of your dog's knee (see the Sizing section above for a full guide). S fits 7–10 cm (2.8–3.9 in), M fits 10–13 cm (3.9–5.1 in), L fits 13–17 cm (5.1–6.7 in), XL fits 17–22 cm (6.7–8.7 in). Between sizes? Order the SMALLER one — our brace runs slightly loose and a snug fit stabilises the knee better.
Yes. Many pet parents use it after CCL repair once the incision has been reviewed by your vet. Always follow your surgeon's post-op instructions on timing.
The brace is symmetrical — one design fits either leg. No need to choose at checkout.
If only one leg had surgery, a single brace is usually enough. But many vets recommend bracing both legs — the uninjured leg often takes on extra load compensating for the healing one, which can lead to strain or even a second injury over time. If your dog is very active or the uninjured leg is already showing signs of favoring, the two-brace bundle offers extra protection on both sides.
The rehab plan gives specific guidance by week. As a rule: full-time weeks 1–4, then during walks and high-activity moments after.
The pouch arrives empty. You fill it with tap water once (about 400ml), seal it, and either freeze for cold therapy or microwave for 15–20 seconds for heat. The water turns to gel and stays that way — reusable up to ~1000 times.
Yes — cold cycle, gentle detergent, air dry. Remove the gel pack first.
If your dog is recovering from surgery or has a diagnosed injury, coordinate with your vet. For general joint support, no approval needed but a vet check is always a good idea.
